Are you new to genealogy? Have you “hit a brick wall” with your research?
Thirty minutes before each meeting, senior members are available to help you with your research. Reference books are also available for your use at the meeting.
Other Group Meetings
In addition to monthly general meetings, JGSGP sponsors ancillary group meetings and activities targeted to the specific interests of its members.
The South Jersey Affiliate of JGSGP meets periodically at:
Congregation Beth Tikvah

Russian Interest Group
The Russian Interest Group (RIG) is for JGSGP members who wish to research their ancestors who lived in countries once governed by Czarist Russia. Meetings of the RIG are held periodically at convenient locations in the Delaware Valley. Each meeting is a “deep dive” into a topic of special interest for those researching Jewish ancestors who lived in Imperial Russian lands. For more information, check our home page or contact the RIG Coordinator, David Brill.
German Interest Group
The German Interest Group(GIG) is for JGSGP members who wish to research their ancestors who lived in German-speaking areas of Central Europe. Currently, JGSGP is seeking a leader for the group. If you are interested, please contact the JGSGP president.
